We are always in search for quick and simple way to get ride of extra fat. We fall on fast diets as they promise as rapid weight loss, but rarely this drastic diets make any sense, especially when we talk about health. Here are five of those diets that are the most extreme



Diet with grapefruit
This diet dates from 1930 and is still popular. The rules are simple: if you eat grapefruit before every meal, drink lots of weather, trow out carbohydrates and eat light proteins, you will get ride of excessive weight.Followers of this diet claim that if you withstand 10 days you could loos up to 5 pounds. It can be true, Erlin Palinski-Wade says " Mostly this diet could work because this fruit has strong diuretic effect. Also this fruit is perfect option if you want to eat something which will get you full and would have small amount of calories"

Diet with parasites
Only for most courageous, this diet became popular in the beginning of 20th century.Brave ones would drink a pill with parasite cysts who would then grow in intestines and consume food as long as a person does not achieve the desired weight. Then they could get ride of the parasites by taking pills against them.
"This is a very dangerous diet that could be fatal. Not only it causes a lack of nutrients, but can also lead to lifelong complications, and the person would regain all the weight after removing parasites from the body," says Dr. Palinski-Wade.
Master Cleanse- lemonade diet
Master Cleanse diet was developed by Stanley Burroughsmany celebrities tried it and swear by its effectiveness, because it is simple and fast. Since this elixir is composed only of water, lemon juice, red pepper and maple syrup, you lose a few pounds which are deposited in a form of liquids, but this does not last for long, says nutritionist Alyce Levine and explains: "You'll probably come back to your old weight when you continue to eat. Diet with baby food
The idea of this diet is to replace breakfast and lunch, with small portions of mash food, then for dinner eat low calorie meal. If you choose not to eat anything other than small amounts of mashed food, you will probably lose weight as if you ate small portions of any food.This means that you only waive the enjoyment of normal prepared food, but in the long run you will not achieve the desired goal.
The Sleeping Beauty Diet
After being mentioned in the famous book from the 1960s, this diet has grown into a trend that has nothing to do with intelligence. In fact all you need to do is to get as take lots of sleeping pills, sleep for few days and than you would wake up thinner.
