Want to live happier? These are the best ways to start the day.

Today's fast pace of life with many problems and of course stress causes many health problems. While we can not slow down time or completely distance ourselves from everyday worries, we can use few simple tips on how to start the day better.

1. Smile

The moment your clock rings at six o’clock in the morning to wake you up for the job, throw on smile. Yes, while you are still sleepy, in bed, smile, and then open your eyes. Stand up, take a deep breath, stretch and smile again. Scientists have proven that people who laugh live longer, have stronger immune systems and achieve better communication with others. On this morning exercise look as mental gymnastics, and the results will soon be noticed.

2. Glass of warm water with lemon

Water with lemon is the best thing your body can afford . Lemon juice stimulates the work of the digestive tract, cleanses the liver and speeds up digestion. This miracle potion will awaken you more efficient than caffeine. Each glass of water with lemon, not only the morning one, is the true balm for the your body, and if you want to further improve this elixir of youth, grate a little fresh ginger into it.

3. Take a shower

Feel the water, concentrate on yourself and think as if you haven't bathed for two months. What a feeling would it then be? Enjoy every drop and making sure you clear your mind from negative thoughts and stress.

4. Life is beautiful!

Yes, exactly! Make a list of things that you are grateful for, think of the people who surround you, the dear ones without whom your life would not be the same. This list does not have to literally be written, you can spare a few minutes for this ritual and just remember the positive moments.

5. Let your breakfast be royal

Prepare it in the evening and do not rush. Enjoy every bite as if it is the first time you try it. Sit down at the table and do not turn on the TV, computer or phone. News and important information leave for later. Make an effort to have a quality breakfast that includes protein, whole grains and lactic products. A piece of fruit take to work.

And as Lucius Annaeus Seneca says "True happiness is... to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future."
