The number of heart attacks in women younger than 50 years is lower than that in man, but in is twice as likely to be fatal.




Cardiovascular diseases are the main cause of death of American women older than 25 years, and from them die more women than from all diseases caused by cancer - about 500,000 a year, 57,000 more than men.
The American Heart Association estimates that nearly a third of women suffer from some form of heart disease, and most of them are not aware! Although researches shows that the number of heart attacks in women younger than 50 years are less than in men of the same age, they are more dangerous for women and twice more likely to be fatal.
The reasons are difficult to determine, but it is believed that women are either affected by more severe form of the disease or want through less aggressive medical treatment. In the basis of the largest number of heart attacks in women is hypertension and high cholesterol, but the good side is that they can be treated and prevented.
It is important to take care of the general health and the health of your heart before any of the symptoms appear - the earlier you start, the easier it is to prevent heart disease. Research shows that the way to a healthy heart is not complex.
