Coconut oil is a saturated fat made up of fatty acids chains which are known to accelerate the metabolism and stimulate weight loss. Coconut oil can also raise basal body temperature. It is digested differently, in the body, than all other foods because can be easier devided in the liver, which produces more energy and more efficient fat burning.
One of the benefits of coconut oil is its long expiration date. Many natural oils very quickly become bad (rancid), and in order to prevent this they are treated with chemicals to extend their shelf life. These hydrogenated oils are very harmful to the body, especially for the thyroid gland. On the other hand, coconut oil is very difficult perishable and does not require harmful processes to extend shelf life.
Studies have shown that coconut oil increases the body's resistance to viruses, bacteria and fungal infections especially those caused by Candida, and it's all because of boric acid which it contains. It is a natural fighter against bacteria and very successfully for treating stomach ulcers and Helicobacter.

All the healthy benefits of coconut oil:

  • Reduces stomach acid (hyperacidity),
  • Facilitates bladder function
  • Reduces the risk of hemorrhoids
  • Treats intestinal disease
  • Relieves pain in the ears
  • Relieves symptoms associated with an enlarged prostate
  • Strengthens liver function and protects it from degeneration
  • It relieves sore of muscles and joints
Because of its healing properties it is found in cosmetic products (nurtures and hydrates the skin) it is also used for removing dandruff.
